The Rock Opera Tommy, which was first performed by The Who in 1969, was originally conceived by Pete Townsend and Kit Lambert with contributions to the development by John Entwhistle, Keith Moon and Roger Daltray. A smash-hit on Broadway and in the West End, this powerful tale of a deaf, mute and blind pinball player who becomes an international messiah now bursts on the stage in this multi award winning adaptation of the original chart-topping rock album. Hit Songs include “Pinball Wizard” and “See Me, Touch Me”.

Due to the Refurbishment of the Gwyn Hall for 2007, we are fortunate enough to stage Godspell at St. David’s Church, Neath.

Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, GODSPELL is one of the most successful musicals in history. It presents a whimsical view of Jesus with his disciples who re-enact parables and scenes to capture Jesus’ life with great energy.

Godspell is a two act contemporary show, with musical numbers of:-

Jekyll & Hyde

Jekyll & Hyde is based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s story about a doctor whose experiments with human personality create an evil and murderous counterpart. Convinced the cure for his father’s mental illness lies in the separation of Man’s evil nature from his good. Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the savage Edward Hyde. Jekyll & Hyde is pure, pulse-pounding theatre, with a lush, romantic score hailed as a modern classic even before the show began its smash-hit Broadway run.

The Witches of Eastwick

In the tiny New England Town of Eastwick, Rhoda Island, three modern day witches innocently plot and conjure over a heady brew of week martinis and peanut butter brownies. But when their longings are made flesh in the arrival of one Darryl Van Horne, all hell breaks loose. Quite literally.

Dana Rowe and John Dempsey’s stage musical of the smash hit movie, produced at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Prince of Wales Theatre by Cameron Mackintosh during 2000 and 2001. Original London Cast included Lucie Arnaz, Ian McShane, Maria Fredman and Joanna Riding.
